Their wings for the other side of the Atlantic (U.S.A.), the A.Pitenis Bros S.A. food industry in the current year and enhances extroversion, while enriching the range of products.

A.Pitenis Bros S.A., located in Kozani, already present in the market of Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Holland, Italy, Cyprus and Albania. The share of production that goes abroad reaches 16% .

Exports of Northern food company in the U.S.A will begin initial pilot catering networks and subsequently make their way to supermarket shelves. Targeted company is Japan, which is the next export target.

As explained in "Makedonia" the Chairman and CEO of A.Pitenis Bros S.A., Dimitris Pitenis, the company felt the shocks of economic crisis, and in 2009 recorded increased sales by 9% reaching the 2.4 million.

For the current year, Mr. Pitenis estimates that the company's sales will reach 2.6 million, as the export activity will increasingly rise.

The company's products in Greece moving through supermarket chains, such Veropoulos, Carrefour Marinopoulos, Atlantic.

Four brand names


The company developed four brand names:

- Salads, creams, mayonnaise, tyrosolata, seafood salads with brand "Pitenis"

- Seafood and fish in oil with brand Oceanos.

- Stuffed pickles with brand Mr Menios.

- Mustard and ketchup dressing with brand name Diamond.

The business plan of A.Pitenis Bros S.A. for the biennium 2010-2011 provides 1 million investment to upgrade plant equipment in Kozani and the creation of new products. Recently the company has created a luxurious product range of Okeanos Exclusive, which includes smoked salmon, smoked eel, smoked octopus and fish pastrurma. The series has debuted on the markets of Cyprus and Albania. The company's management is in discussions so that the newly-formed turn be found in Greek supermarkets.
