Investments of 2 million euro is prepared by the A.Pitenis BROS S.A. Food industry

Investments of the total budget that would exceed 2 million euro, is being prepared for the biennium 2010-2011, by the A.Pitenis BROS SA food industry, which has the facilities in the city of Kozani, Western Macedonia, but the scope is nationwide with a strong export orientation, who supported this year with a pilot product penetration in the U.S. market.

The President and CEO of  A. Piteni Bros S.A., Mr Dimitris Pitenis, speaking at a profit on development plans of the company notes that investments related to modernizing equipment and computerization of the company and its subsidiaries, and creating a new distribution center in Thessaloniki. Specifically planned modernization investments worth around 1 million, which plans to include funding for new investment law when it enters into force, while the remaining amount of investments that were included in the NSRF for equipment for the parent and subsidiaries available in Tripoli and Ioannina. Particular has a subsidiary for the distribution center in Tripoli called BROS Piteni and CO and the second in Ioannina called HHBT Piteni Bros OE engaged in research and development and represents the amount of 300,000 euros each.

Given that the development strategy and philosophy that applies Mr Pitenis is a basic principle of continuous investments, the past three years has implemented investment projects total cost of 1.250 euros. This amount includes the purchase of 5 trucks with its own resources, the total value of 500,000 euros. The remaining investments were included in the Competitiveness Programme and WFP Peloponnese concerned because the distribution center that created the company in Tripoli for the supply of the region
